Essential Families, leveraging our Collective Impact Integrated Service Platform (CIISP), is leading a collective of 39 Community Partners, that has closed the Digital Divide for 862 households.
The Essential Digital Equity Program model and approach has delivered "measurable impact", proving the need, and positive community effect of our Essential Digital Equity Program. Moreover, with adequate funding, over 4-year period, our Essential Economic Mobility Program is sustainable for years to come.
Our Essential Digital Equity Program has ten (10) services designed and built to stabilize children and families, leveraging affordable and reliable broadband Internet.
Once the individual/family is stable, Essential Families, in collaboration with our 39 Community Partners, has ten (10) Digital Workforce Development services (job training programs) designed to enable Cover Population participation in the "Digital Economy".
The University of Missouri/BLOCH, a highly respected third-party data analysis and reporting entity, produced an Economic Mobility report using Essential Families Economic Mobility raw data.

The Essential Economic Mobility Workshop is conducted in partnership with our 39 Community Partners, with workshops held at our Community Partner locations. The Essential Economic Mobility Workshop includes the following services and program.
Essential Economic Mobility Program Deliverables:
Digital Case Manager - Essential Families has 60 trained Digital Case Managers in the greater Kansas City area. Essential Families will identify and train Digital Case Managers in your geographic area. The Essential Families Digital Case Manager provides individualized or small group assistance to the unserved and underserved Covered Population, who need affordable internet, new laptop with 1-year premium service, coaching in introductory digital skills, how to protect themselves online, and essential "wrap around" resources to stabilize their household.
The initial contact with Covered Population is in person. 48 hours follow up, and other follow ups, which can be up to 3 months, 2 twice months, are conducted on NoW video (www.nowvideo.us), our live streaming video platform. If seniors, immigrants, or refugee Covered Population clients require additional "in person" support, this can be arranged.
Best Internet Service Provider Selection and Sign-Up Assistance (https://efamilies.org/isp-partners/) - Digital Case Managers assist Covered Population with selecting the best Internet Service Provider, for the individual or family. Internet Service provided for 6 months at no cost.
Chrome Book Computer - New Chromebook/Laptop computer, with 1-year premium support, ensuring Covered Population has an equal opportunity to participate in the Digital Economy
Computer and Internet Training - Basic computer knowledge about how computers work and how to use them. Include typing, learning keyboard commands, powering a computer on and off, knowing how to connect, search, disconnect, and protect yourself on the Internet.
Essential Parenting Education - Offering weekly twelve (12) 90-minute Essential parental education sessions by trained Essential Parental Educators who will support expectant mothers, parents, or guardians of children birth to nineteen (19).
Essential Telehealth(www.e-telehealth.org) - Providing unlimited Primary care and up to 5 secure Mental Telehealth sessions with licensed Therapists, Counselors, and Psychiatrists. No wait list. EAP model.
EveryThing(www.everything-kc.org) - Providing local essential resources, such as food, shelter, and transportation for Families, through multiple languages, using Google like model.
NoW Video Conference(www.nowvideo.us) - Easy Video, Zoom like video conference Anywhere you can Trust. Translation and translation of English language to 130 languages in real time.
